I’m Christian Echeverria but call me Choko. I’m Ecuadorian blogger. I’m passionate about traveling and anything related to social media. In my free time, I devote myself to traveling around the Americas. I’ve given talks about Tourism 2.0 at conferences, seminars and universities.

ChokoTrip was born in January 2013, as a result of the trips I have made in Ecuador. I have published my experience in each destination, through guides to help other travelers. All these trips have made me become an influencer, not only with my blog, but also with my Instagram account @ChokoEc.

Many bloggers put the marks they have worked with, and I used to do it too, but I think it’s not worth mentioning those companies, especially if they never helped me to create ChokoTrip.

At 2014 my blog ChokoTrip was among the top 12 finalists of America in the “Travel Blogger 2014” organized by the famous FITUR.

My wife, Rita, has been an important part in starting this travel blog. She is my companion on most of my trips. I have two cats @ChokaLola and I hope that one day they’ll join me on one of my trips (although they have already traveled to the United States and Colombia).

Currently I’m part of @Viajeros.Ec, which is a Travel Bloggers Network from Ecuador that, we seek to work together and organized in the tourist promotion of Ecuador and the world.

The new proposal I have for you is to help you on your trip through the Galapagos Islands, giving you the facility to book daily tours and cruises, with plenty of time in advance.
