TERMS AND CONDITIONS CHOKOTRIP:
CANCELLATION OR CHANGE TO ITINERARY: You may cancel your tour up to 30 days before the tour date with a refund of 80% of the payment made. Within 30 days of the tour, there will be no refunds for cancellations under any conditions. For date changes, you may change the date of the tour with a minimum of 48 hours notice by contacting the corresponding tour operator, excluding tours to Bartolomé Island, Española, Pitt Point, South Plazas, Floreana and North Seymour. Any changes made to tour dates are subject to availability. The second half of the payment must be paid in cash (US dollars) no later than the day before the tour at the respective tour operator’s office or the same day as indicated in your voucher. If you have difficulties with the form of the second half of the payment, please contact the tour operator directly via WhatsApp to arrange an alternative payment method. In the case of non-payment, the reservation will be canceled without a refund. If you have contracted a tour despite health or mobility problems and are unable to complete the tour, you will not be refunded.
In order to coordinate the meeting point and/or pick up for your tour, YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM TOUR OPERATORS If you change hotels. If you do not wish to provide the details of your hotel, you must notify the tour operator so they can designate for you an alternate pick up point. This must be done with 24 hours notice via WhatsApp or phone before the tour. Should you fail to do this, Christian Echeverria Espinoza and the operators/vessels providing the service will not take responsibility for any tours that are missed nor will process reimbursements.
THE OPERATOR/ BOAT: Once you have made your payment, the tour operator assumes responsibility for the contracted services. In the event of any mechanical problems, the tour operator is at liberty to locate another vessel of similar characteristics and with the same route as the contracted tour.
The captain reserves the right to adjust the itinerary in the face of circumstances beyond their control, such as weather or regulations imposed by Galapagos National Park.
RESPONSIBILITY: Christian Echeverria Espinoza states that his activity is that of an intermediary in the commercialization of daily tours and transfers in Galápagos. He is not responsible directly or indirectly for any damages or losses that you, or those who travel with you, may suffer before, during or as a result of the chosen service. Christian Echeverria Espinoza and the tour operators are not responsible for any events which may arise from chance or unforeseeable circumstances, including weather phenomenons, natural events and so on, that may occur before or during the provision of the tour and that may delay, interrupt or prevent the execution thereof. If you have contracted a tour despite health or mobility problems and are unable to complete the tour, you will not be refunded. If you are traveling with children, at all times that child must be under the family’s care. The operator has the right to request identification of the child to verify the age and identity, otherwise he must pay the full price of the tour as an adult. If you booked a tour but are not admitted entry to the Islands due to reasons relating to coronavirus, you will not be refunded.
