Galapagos: The best islands, the best itineraries combining day tours and cruise

If you’re traveling to the Galapagos Islands, make sure to save enough money to stay for a longer stretch of time (9-14 days). This way, you can explore some of the best islands that can only be visited by cruise and combine this with day tours.

I’ve traveled to the Galapagos 10 times and have visited the majority of the islands available on both cruises and day tours. Based on my experience, I planned the itineraries below to ensure you can see the best of the Islands during your trip. These are the most complete plans available to fully experience the Islands.

Spaces are limited (especially on the cruises) and we recommend taking flights that arrive to Baltra Island before 11AM and depart from San Cristobal Island, depending on the itinerary you select.
